BE-SOL, an engineering and research specialist in the field of renewable energy, has chosen Archimedys for a large research program. The target given to Archimedys was to be able to carry a very corrosive and abrasive salt in a prototype installation, without the use of any material sensible to corrosion.
The complete installation, including automatism and motor, has been provided by AT Technic, specialist in the production of plastic conveyor for Bulk Handling. Archimedys modular screw has been integrated in their production line in order to create a complete plastic screw conveyor able to reach the efficiency and secure condition of use requested. Thanks to the modularity design, the screw profile has been easily adjusted and conveyor optimisation done without welding.
